Georgia linebacker Adam Anderson jailed

Police have charged Georgia senior linebacker Collin Sexton Jersey  Adam Anderson with felony rape. Anderson willingly turned himself into the Athens-Clarke County Police Department on Wednesday and, according to online records, was booked into Athens-Clarke County Jail at 7:45 p.m. ET without bond. reports that, according to an Athens-Clarke County incident report, a 21-year-old woman alleged Anderson raped her on Oct. 29. Per the report, the woman went to a house between midnight and 7 a.m. ET on Oct. 29. The woman had drinks at the residence, falling asleep before waking up to find Anderson raping her. She reported it to Athens-Clarke County police the same day.The following day, Anderson participated in Georgia's 34-7 win over Florida in Jacksonville, Fla.
