The era doesn't appear to have an end in sight. Despite Los Angeles fans' clear preference for -- just listen to them at the ' latest lo s -- the city's new team won't be saved by the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft.According to  Martin Prado Jersey Network's Ian Rapoport, the Rams will not insert Goff into the starting lineup until they're out of playoff contention.  Appearing on Monday's edition of , NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported the Rams have no plans to make a quarterback change as long as the postseason remains a po sibility."My understanding of the Rams quarterback situation," Rapoport said, "is that Blank Jersey  they're not going to make a switch -- barring some sort of epic collapse by Case Keenum -- until they fall out of playoff contention."NFL Network's Steve Wyche echoed that sentiment, reporting on NFL Network's that the Rams simply don't believe Jared Goff is ready to play.So, for as much as I've criticized Jeff Fisher in the past -- -- I'm not going to rip him for this.
